- Dr. Chung’s Food Co., Ltd. that opened the first page of Korea’s soymilk history was established in 1973, and it is the soymilk company that has led the soymilk industry of Korea and world for the past 40 years.
The beginning of the Vegemil was to develop something with the purpose of providing proper nutrients to the children who are suffering from lactose intolerance that can’t digest lactose ingredient included in the breast milk and milk, while founder and medical doctor Chai-Won Chung was working as pediatrician in 1968.
Dr. Chung’s Food Co., Ltd. built its central research center in 1984 in order to be recognized as the nutritional quality product by customers, and they are keeping a tight rein for product development and quality improvement. Vegemil type, highly nutritional drink, to provide vegetable nutrients to modern people with westernized diet, Greenbia type, special medical foods for the various types of patients or general public who want nutritional supplement, Sun Mont type, various drinks and juices, and Woorian type, for customers aiming for healthy life style are being produced and loved by our customers.
As present, January 2014, there are 480 authorized dealers are operating actively based on 14 nationwide offices, to receive customers opinions through meeting customers directly and to promote Vegemil and to provide more information better, our healthy ladies are with you. Korea’s soymilk industry leader, Dr. Chung’s Food will make greater effort to become a Korean company not only recognized domestically but internationally as well, and all our employees will make endless efforts for single path race that isn’t lonely with the single objective of public health.
